Torn

to hear the news

was accidental

but the consequences

horrendous

what terror

masked as melancholy

to cause such inqury

to a soul

perhaps a careless

fall

but what anxiety

moments before

body in shock

that moment of trauma

absolute

solid steel at speed

no capacity for remorse

a ghost train returning

home

rail tracks laced

bright red

a human life torn

About pmisteil

Hi, my name is Paul though I write under other names like, Thatcher and Paolo, I love literature, art and architecture their passion and drama....the contradictions. The notion of Truth-who is the person behind the mask? Or does it matter! I like long walks and longer conversations over cappuccinos in a cafe with atmosphere and the rest is a journey!
