Unequal Duration

at the station

everyday

i take the train

nodding to familiar

strangers

making the same journey

sharing moments of

unequal duration

days of

lunch dates or

coffee breaks or

simply workmates

filling in the gap

moments of no fixed

address

faces with hidden

scars

individuals with no power

About pmisteil

Hi, my name is Paul though I write under other names like, Thatcher and Paolo, I love literature, art and architecture their passion and drama....the contradictions. The notion of Truth-who is the person behind the mask? Or does it matter! I like long walks and longer conversations over cappuccinos in a cafe with atmosphere and the rest is a journey!

Do you mind if I use that in a poem or something…I really think it’s quite amazing for some odd reason.
