A Mouthful of Coffee

i’m sitting in a Starbucks
cafe
looking at the decor
and the people on
display
licking the crusty
cappuccino from my lips
waiting for inspiration
to walk up to me
and take a seat
saying
“what’s happening dude?”
glancing across to the counter
at Sarah, smiling
seven minutes til my
bus arrives
feel a moment is
waiting to hatch
tick, tick
only a mouthful of coffee left!

About pmisteil

Hi, my name is Paul though I write under other names like, Thatcher and Paolo, I love literature, art and architecture their passion and drama....the contradictions. The notion of Truth-who is the person behind the mask? Or does it matter! I like long walks and longer conversations over cappuccinos in a cafe with atmosphere and the rest is a journey!
