Creating a Moment

across opposite seats
her dark eyes
hypnotic
as only brown eyes
can
perhaps?
she was curious
then i turned
my stare seemed
inappropriate
the sound of two men
in conservation
oblivious
to open ears
privacy cannot survive
on public trains
yet there is the opportunity
to engage
to take a chance
to know another
human being
a stranger….
mapping their mask
hoping it might slip
creating a moment
terms and conditions
need not apply
tasting the nectar of life

About pmisteil

Hi, my name is Paul though I write under other names like, Thatcher and Paolo, I love literature, art and architecture their passion and drama....the contradictions. The notion of Truth-who is the person behind the mask? Or does it matter! I like long walks and longer conversations over cappuccinos in a cafe with atmosphere and the rest is a journey!
