Lift the Veil

life has a habit
an inconsistent habit
of lifting the veil
of this human existence
for good or ill
one hopes there is a
not just to persevere
but discover
not just to survive
but live
beyond the narrow
of the minds of others
reality is never complete
unless we listen to
the whispers of our dreams
Time must wait
so must Death
and Fate is a coward
hiding behind the skirts of
weaker men
never be afraid to
what Fate fears must
your Soul
empower the gift of life

About pmisteil

Hi, my name is Paul though I write under other names like, Thatcher and Paolo, I love literature, art and architecture their passion and drama....the contradictions. The notion of Truth-who is the person behind the mask? Or does it matter! I like long walks and longer conversations over cappuccinos in a cafe with atmosphere and the rest is a journey!
