Invaders

the sound of pre-adolescence
invades the train
quite unexpected
nothing is sacrosanct
except being cool!
the slagging is immediate
back and forth like
table tennis balls
a day’s outing
begins
but the regulars are not amused
and i thought i was getting
old
set in my ways
as the teasing continues
the banter contagious
these young people
need no supervision
their good nature is honest
and apparent
which is more than i can say
for the regulars

About pmisteil

Hi, my name is Paul though I write under other names like, Thatcher and Paolo, I love literature, art and architecture their passion and drama....the contradictions. The notion of Truth-who is the person behind the mask? Or does it matter! I like long walks and longer conversations over cappuccinos in a cafe with atmosphere and the rest is a journey!
