A Pulsating Heart

at any moment
for no particular reason
i feel my blood pulsate
sitting in Cafe en Seine
trying to understand
Truth or Fate
or where i carelessly
left my innocence
but like a shadow
i am reminded
when all the elements of
are reassembled
too old to be embarrassed
too happy to feel guilty
i acquiesce
take pleasure in the seeing
the vision of her body
from the shape of her legs
to the colour of her eyes
and aspects in between
O’the exquisite taunt of
that blinds all logic
and common sense
the undulated ecstasy of
sweet heaven on earth
just let this feeling resonate
in every sinew of my body
to some unspecific notion
of time
in the very distant reality

About pmisteil

Hi, my name is Paul though I write under other names like, Thatcher and Paolo, I love literature, art and architecture their passion and drama....the contradictions. The notion of Truth-who is the person behind the mask? Or does it matter! I like long walks and longer conversations over cappuccinos in a cafe with atmosphere and the rest is a journey!
