Almost Caught

while here
i cannot resist
the temptation to look
observe the others
to the very point
of being seen
almost caught
at a single table
number 19 to be precise
watching the film goers
eat, drink and converse
about films
about life
here, sipping coffee
because i missed my
a life bullied by
there and back again
but i digress
as i notice
the young waitress
with the lovely legs
lips that should be kissed
alas, not by me
as the seconds tick
the minutes pass
but still a moment

About pmisteil

Hi, my name is Paul though I write under other names like, Thatcher and Paolo, I love literature, art and architecture their passion and drama....the contradictions. The notion of Truth-who is the person behind the mask? Or does it matter! I like long walks and longer conversations over cappuccinos in a cafe with atmosphere and the rest is a journey!

Very self-conscious. I see myself in this narrator.
