In To The East

i look towards the east

towards the bay

Dublin port and the Irish sea

watching gulls glide

hear them squawk

stare at those mysterious

clouds

carrying the dreams

or

the lost tears of a previous age

dressed in shades of white and

gray

reborn as rain

their reincarnated stories

will wet the pavement

and soon….

our day will come

our residue

expressed through rain

contained in those silent vessels

in an ever changing sky

About pmisteil

Hi, my name is Paul though I write under other names like, Thatcher and Paolo, I love literature, art and architecture their passion and drama....the contradictions. The notion of Truth-who is the person behind the mask? Or does it matter! I like long walks and longer conversations over cappuccinos in a cafe with atmosphere and the rest is a journey!
